outdoor joinery

I'm going to build a wood toolbox for the back of my '54 Chevy truck. I'll be using solid white oak. What would be the best method of joinery considering outdoor weather extremes and the subtle flexing of the truck bed?

No. I only do that when I'm drunk.

Have built a few simple outdoor storage boxes using cedar and the Kreg fastening system which for my purposes seems to do what is required. Nothing fancy, but used HD deck screws, and finished the entire wood project - inside and out with a clear marine varnish. Be safe.
