glue up post op

Just did a not so perfect glue up for a table top using KD jointed and planed Doug fir. There are only a few spots here and there that are uneven by about 1/16 inch (?). Best way to fix it? Hand plane? Thoughts? Thanks.

A power jointer would pobably be best, provided you have one that'll fit the tabletop. After that, in descending order, bench plane, belt sander, sanding block, chainsaw

We have an introduction section where you can say a few words about yourself. If you fill out your profile in your "User Control Panel", you can list any hobbies, experience, occupation, or if retired…from what, or other facts. You can also list your general geographical location which would be a help in answering some questions. In doing that your location will show under your username when you post.

Use a handplane and then a ROS.

If it were me I would use a belt sander. Use a coarse belt and sand first cross grain first then with the grain. Then re-sand with the grain with a finer belt and thouroughly go over it with a random orbital sander afterwards.
