C'mon, UPS!!

Just ordered a Leigh super 12" dovetail jig and I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve lol. I may not sleep for the next few days, and if I do I'll surely dream of variably spaced custom dovetails!!!

In a word - STOKED!

That's awesome!!!! I'm sure you'll have fun with it. Lots of different types of joints. Can't wait to see your joints.

When it's rustic......it's rustic

This particular jig has some awesome features. It allows you to cut both the pins and tails in a half blind dovetail at the same time, which I think is pretty damn cool. It has the capability of doing full through dovetails in variable spacing. The template is made up of individual fingers, which can be moved independently of each other to produce custom spacing. Also-this was the clincher for me-the jig can produce sliding dovetails, which I plan on using to do the faceframe joinery in a buffet cabinet I'll be starting soon.

Have you got a tracking number? If you do you will know where it at and when you are going to get it. I always get my orders between 5pm and7pm as I must be near the end of the UPS route.
