Post Bed Rails Jointery Question

I am making my son a loft bed. I made the ends out of 2x10's and I tongue and grooved the rails/shelves together (3/8" tongue 1/2" deep). The rails/shelves are the ladder he will climb up into the bed as well. My question is: Is the tongue and groove glued together enough to hold, or should I add pocket screws too?

Welp, I ended up putting a couple screws in the top and bottom rail/steps and filling the hole to hid it if anyone wanted to know.
