Aux. Table Saw Fence

The plan I'm working calls for an aux. table saw fence. Could someone please tell me how to make the aux fence shown in the "Cut Tongues" drawing attached. Thank you.

It kind of depends on what fence you have on your table saw. Mine has some keyhole slots for attaching a "sacrificial fence." Rockler makes some clamps that require holes be made in the top edge of the piece of wood or MDF. http://www.rockler.com/universal-fence-clamps

Not rocket science.

Clamp a board to your fence. Position it over your blade. Start the saw and slowly crank the blade up some so a cavity is created which will allow the fence to be moved over the blade when you have it in the cutting position. Repeat as necessary until you have enough clearance.
