I've decided to do dadoes on my end verticals and put a support in the middle of each module or section. The pictures will say it all. The dadoes turned out really clean and nice after fiddling with some shims to get the perfect thickness for the ply.

Thanks! I'll post more pics when done. Yeah these people have hundreds of books and almost 1000 DVDs they need storage for. They currently have a bunch of cheapo particleboard bookcases that are all sagging and busted.

Nice job on the shelves, but they are not an answer to the question originally posted. Project Showcase would be a better place to show them.

You can also show your method for making the dados since they "turned out pretty clean".

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)
