Woodworking Talk Newsletters Going Out

Our February 2015 WoodworkingTalk.com newsletter will be going out shortly.

This is our first newsletter under the new ownership so there may be a hiccup or two along the way. Just let me know if there are any issues.

"Show respect even to people who donít deserve it, not as a reflection of their character, but as a reflection of yours."

First I heard of a newsletter

Cut it twice, measure once and it's still too short.

I haven't received it.

Measure Twice Cut Once -- It's a lot easier to cut more off then it is to cut MORON.

I get the emails!

Here's a sample of the email:
Hello Woodworking Talk - Woodworkers Forum Member!

Welcome to the May 2015 edition of the WoodWorkingTalk.com newsletter!

To start off this month, we have a novice with questions about the limits of a Thicknesser. Click on the first link below to check it out and offer your own suggestions!
As well, we've also collected a number of interesting posts from our community, including pics of a hand plane restoration and a look at an incredible log furniture build. After you've read all that, please click on the image to the right to head back to the forum for even more great information and discussions.

Enjoy the newsletter and be safe out there!

That's why I post it here every month, just in case you didn't receive it.

If you are singed up for it, and not receiving it, check your spam folder.

You can also double check to make sure your preferences are set to receive it.

I am just curious: what is so different about the newsletter versus the forum. From what I can see is that the newsletter is just posts from the forum.....or am I missing something here.

I'm receiving....

The newsletter to me is a quick overview of some of the more interesting topics/questions and the discussions, I enjoy them due to I'm not here every day AND I definitely don't have time to view all threads/posts....It helps IF I've overlooked a interesting thread.

I'm glad to see some changes coming about here...it shows there's some interest on the upper level to improve and keep us semi updated.

THANKS!!!

P.S. Cricket....I noticed several of the mods didn't know....gotta keep them in the loop also!!! Actually before us, so their not dumbfounded if we ask a question!!!

Have a Blessed and Prosperous day in Jesus's Awesome Love, Tim
