Using The Smartphone Viewer

This thread is just for help exploring the new phone viewer for the site. If you have bugs to report, please post them here.

Open WoodworkingTalk.com from the browser of your phone.

Near the upper right hand corner you will see 3 dots.

When you click on those 3 dots you will see the option to sign in.

You will also see an option to change your settings, such as increasing font size if needed.

Near the upper left hand corner you will see 3 lines. Clicking there will offer more navigation and options.

If you want to reply to a thread, simply click reply at the end of the page or click the + sign near the top.

Starting a Thread Using SmartPhone Viewer

Step One:
Make sure you are signed in.

Step Two:
Navigation to the forum or subforum where you want to start a thread.

Step Three:
Click on the notepad with the + sign

Step Four
Enter your content and press send.

Added Note:
If you want to include an image in your post click on the 3 dots before you press send to select your image.

Please use a descriptive subject title when posting new threads. "Help!" is not a descriptive subject title."Need help choosing a miter saw" is a much more descriptive and useful subject title.

Multi-Quote Function Using Smartphone Viewer

Near the upper right hand corner of each post you will see a little check box. You can check more than one to access the multi-quote function.

One you have selected the posts you want to quote, simply click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and select multi-quote.
