Woodturning Workshop with Tim Yoder

Hello, my name is Bryan Crain and I worked(camera, graphics, editing, promotions) with Tim Yoder on the PBS show Woodturning Workshop.
The show was recently canceled but Tim and I hope to bring it back someday soon.
In the meantime we have started a website (www.woodturningwithtim.com) and produced a new full length DVD "From Tree to Bowl" available for purchase on the site.
We have several free video shorts available as well and are working on our next DVD.
Everything is basically the same as woodturning workshop.... the only difference is we had to drop 'workshop' from the title for legal reasons.
We appreciate all the support the woodturning community has given us over the past 6 years and hope you visit our site.
FYI...Woodturning Workshop was recently nominated for an EMMY award, we find out July 23rd if we win.
thanks again for everything...
Bryan

Cool

Hi Bryan!

Sorry to hear the show was canceled... bummer... I enjoyed it... even though I don't do any 'turning' now days.

I thought the shows were very well done! Y'all did a very good job!

Thank you!

woodturning workshop wins emmy award

just a quick update...woodturning workshop won the emmy award it was nominated for.
It was a pleasant surprise for us considering we are one of the smallest (if not the smallest) public television stations in the nation.
be sure to visit us on our new website www.woodturningwithtimyoder.com. thanks again for all of your support!

Very good!

Incidentally, I watched a BUNCH of your Woodturning Woodshop programs last night (early this morning)! KVCR 24.1 in San Bernardino, CA.

Started about midnight and went to 4am... I didn't watch ALL of it... bits & pieces... They were very good!

Bryan,

I was very dissappointed when the show was dropped. Tim was always intertaining to watch during the show.

The Woodturning Workshop

I would really like to see your show back on the air. You had very good content and one of the few well produced woodworking shows, with great video and editing. It is a pleasure to watch and very informative. The show brought back memories of my days in school using the lathe (50+ years ago) and because of this I just recently purchased a new lathe from WoodCraft.
I havenít gotten it set up yet but will after the holidays.
