wood sickness is back

Hello to all you sick woodworkers. I suffer from the same illness that all of you have woodisam. I guess I should start with a little about my self.
My name is Chris and I like wood just joking. My name is Chris I live about forty miles south of Chicago in farmland I only have a couple acres that I keep two crazy horses two crazy dogs and some crazy barn cats on. I'm married and have a 3 month old little girl (Grace) born on 1/11/11. I have a pole barn I put up 5 years ago that I split in half 30 x30 for the horses and 30x32 for me. I had to make my side a little bigger.
It has been mainly set up to work on cars boats bikes and junk and a section for for entertaining until one day I decided to pull out the unisaw I had been hiding in the corner. Well that started the sickness again. Now I have a barn with a wood shop to. I found this site and have been hooked so I figured I should jump in . I haven't had a chance to load pictures but I will soon. Thanks for sharing your projects and knowledge
with me you guys have taught me a lot . This is my first time on any
kind of forum so I hope I don't make to many mistakes or ask to many questions. Thanks for your time I hope I didn't bore you guys to much

Welcome from a little further down south, Chris!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. 30 X 32 shop !?! Man, I'd love to have that kind of room! Give us a tour sometime. And, congrats on the new addition. It should be easy to remember Grace's birthday!

WELCOME! chicago is on my top 20 least desirable places to be! Hahaha... Love the architecture but man, anywhere that has a "lake effect" is not the place for me! :) of course it IS lower on the list than never ending sand and camels though!

Glad to have you aboard! Hope to learn a thing or two from you...

It really is a sickness. In a lot of ways. A fellow woodworker and friend once said to me "Personally, I think there is something really wrong with us". I believe him .
