They're coming out of the woodwork in Cleveland

Hello to all,

I hope this day is going to be a turning point in my life. I've always enjoyed woodworking, but mostly watching others doing it on TV. I guess it was around ten+ years ago or so when, I thought I was going to get into woodworking. Purchased a bunch of tools, mostly Craftsman......but, I'm sorry to say that's about as far as I got with it, for many reasons. My son, my parents and friends told me numerous times over the years.....why don't you sell all that stuff, you never use it. My answer most of the time was....well, I'll use it when I get older. I guess the time has come.....I'm definitely older. I have a ton of learning and catching up to do, and it looks like I came to the right place to start. Now I'm glad I didn't sell any of my woodworking tools. Let the sawdust fly, lol

Joe

Joe, welcome!

Theres one thing about a good tool. They don't wear our just sitting in a box. Congrats on your decision to keep them. Now it's time to roll up your sleeves and pick a project.

Welcome from Texas Joe.
I like a man that stands his ground. Now it will pay off.
Plenty to learn here.

Shamus.....I wasn't quite that bad , but you're close. They're all out of the box and have been used here and there over the years for minor things. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather around here, so I can get out there and finish rebuilding my boat trailor....need to get it out of the garage. Enough work space is one thing I don't have.

BTW.....* I did make this really beautiful woodburning stove years ago that is still up for sale or trade. So, if anyone is interested feel free to PM me with any questions you may have. The whole project was made out of solid oak.

* only joking
