Thanks for the help everyone provides
My names Chuck and I live in Caldwell Idaho transplanted from California. I retired from the telephone company in 92 and started dabbling with making things for the wife to paint. She was taking lessons in tole painting and it was cheaper to make the things.
I dabble in making jewelry and I'm a prospector/miner. My dabbling in wood has turned into a small business making things for other decorative painters. I have bought things from venders that I can recommend and some I can't. You might say I am a straight cut person, which really means I don't have the patience to use a scroll saw, I leave that to the wife.
I have a lot of tools I have acquired over the years and still learning how to use them.
Thanks for this forum and the help people contribute to make the craft safer and fun craft to do.
