Something Different!

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd say "G'day".
Which is probably more than enough for you to guess where I'm from.
I was reading some of the treads about wooden toys, and there seems to be a little bit of a question as to whether or not they belong!

So I thought I'd put a couple of pictures of one of my Toys/Models
up, and then go with the flow as to whether or not they should be on the site.

This is a 2/3 scale 1916 Ariel Motorcycle with sidecar, it's made from recycled materials. Mainly timber but the wheels and the frame are metal.
All the rest is pretty much timber and stuff you can find around the house!

Something Different!-ariel-1.jpg

The wooden parts to the Ariel are: the engine, gearbox, petrol tank, toolboxs, seat, fishtail exhaust and all of the sidecar above the frame.

Something Different!-ariel-2.jpg

So I'm not to shore if my work fits in, but I'd like to think it does!
I thinking someone will let me know pretty quick.
Either way it's a great site you have here.

Thanks Trevor.

Welcome to the forum, your work looks to fit the forum well.

Take a look in the Project Showcase. A number of model build threads. One recent build, in progress is "The Raiders Coach". Worth taking a look.
