Frustrated in Vancouver. I'm a Newbie to the forum and love what I've seen and read however I'm a lover of woodworking but illiterate on computers. I have made several attempts to Upload some of my scrolling project and have met with failure each time. I think the problem is my picture files are to large to meet the parameters allowed? example Heron picture 865 KB allowable parameter 200KB can anyone give me some tips to enable me to show off my work?

ive used paint shop pro for 17 years and have not found a program thats easier to use. my wife and daughter had no trouble using it at all. you can resize and resample any photo. you can download older versions for free.

I use Outlook for my email program. When I have a photo of my woodworking, I right click and send to mail recipient. Outlook then asks if I want to resize the photo. I click yes and resize to medium size. Once the email is ready to send, I click and drag the photo out of the email and put it on my desktop, ready for posting on the forum.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Sweet sassy molassy. Let me save some headache/time for you. Click.

This will add a resize option to your right click menu in Windows.
