Ryan from VA

Hey everyone my name is Ryan. I'm 25 and I live in Virginia. I've been interested in wood working since high school where I took shop all 4 years. Since then, I've had an underlying fixation with making things.

I rarely ever do any wood working as my wife and I live in a very small apt. in a building with 11 other tenants who do not like noise which I'm sure you can understand might be a difficult thing to avoid while using power tools.

I'll be dropping in on occasion to read some threads, ask some questions, and admire some work. Thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan

The best way to over come the noise thing is to
make something for your neighbors, it doesn't
need to be something big. Book ends? Cup rack?
Picture frame? Pen holder?

Welcome to the mad house..

I may be the only sane person here,,,,,.

We Like pictures by the way!

Ryan,
Welcome to the forum. Your apartment situation is a perfect excuse to learn how to do everything with hand tools. Just watch a few episodes of Roy Underhill on PBS and you'll be there in no time.
