Welcome, Ron!

This retirement gig isn't all it's cut out to be... you can't take a day off and you can't call in sick!

Welcome here Ron, to this very friendly woodworking forum, where there is always room for one more. There are many facets of woodworking, so consider trying out/reading about a few until you find what area is comfortable for you. Buying wood "toys" can be lots of fun too, and many members here will give their "take" on any & all of them. Enjoy your stay, and be safe.

Welcome from SE Texas!
Not gonna reetar for s while yet, but do have a little more calendar than you.
Look around here, you'll find folks that do amazing things with whatever tools they use--- and helpful/friendly too.

Everyday--learning to liberate nice things from ordinary chunks of wood
and I like gnarly wood--outcome is always better than the start.
