Ricky from Houston, Tx

Hi guys, I've been browsing around here for a few weeks now and have been enjoying reading posts from everyone. I have especially enjoyed looking at the pictures. I am new to woodworking and this place is really an inspiration. It all started for me when I told my wife that I wanted to rip up the carpet and put down laminate floors. I immediately convinced my wife that I could do it myself. So I purchased a 6 tool combo kit, a table saw, a miter saw, and a bunch of other things which have ultimately led to more than just the floors being changed. I have now built an additional wall, extended our cabinets and counter, changed all the light fixtures and so on. I am not finished just yet but I already have some woodworking ideas on my mind. I want to build my wife and I a platform bed, do some nice shelving in my closet to get my wife's things a little better organized, and I also want to build new doors for my cabinets to give it a more modern look.

I look forward to sharing my (hopefully coming soon) projects with you guys and reading your comments.

Thanks guys.

Ricky

Sure you can, but you might want to post it in design & plans or general wdwrk discussion.

Katy aint too far anymore. Know a couple people who live out there.

Robhodge I used to live off cypress rosehill and huffmeister. My old roommate still does. And I have several friends who sre in the area as well.

Small world huh
