from portugal to new jersey

Hi everyone

I'd posted two queries into WWTalk before my proper introduction, but now it's time for that step, no less important.
So this is how I now bring you all a big hug from overseas, arriving from Portugal to New Jersey for just no more than 3 years ago.
I've worked at the MET in NY in some conservation projects but after the not renewal of the contracts me and other free-lancer conservators were forced to get into other solutions to live, like working in private practice.
Recently I've been preparing my goal which is opening a studio for antique furniture conservation and other wooden artifacts, which hopefully will open by half of this December. It's not a big space but cozy and full of optimism, so all are always welcome.
The location is right in the center map of the Union County, New Jersey, but soon i'll bring you the correct address.
Other specialty I've learned in Portugal was the conservation treatment
of panel painting's supports ,which is a very interesting field in the art conservation.
So for all this, i'll be glad to have you visit in the future, if any of u pass close by.

Good work for all.

Ars longa, vita brevis

Miguel G.

Welcome Miguel... How do you like the weather differences between Jersey and Portugal?
Good Luck with your endeavor.

Welcome Miguel, I'll have to stop by next time I'm out your way...Union is home to one of the best tool places in Jersey. Force Machinery on Route 22 East.
