newbie from N.Y.

Hi I'm Scott. I have been instred in woodworking for about 3 years now and reading wood magazines Ill have allot of question as time go on. Is there any one here from the Syracuse NY area? I am an automotive mechanic by trade, yeah I know cars to wood but I need some thing to relax me after work. I'm looking to better my skill and build some nice things for my home. Scott

Thanks for the welcomes every one. I see the guys from Texas like there guns as well. Phinds and PsychOticNemes1s you are not to far from Syracuse, but Ed were is Westchester from Syracuse? Can you guys tell me if there are any shows in this area for wood working or there tools? Scott

from Texas from a used-to-be New Yorker.
Westchester is just north of NYC.
I almost moved to Syracuse and ended up in Arkansas at the time.
Beautiful country up there.

I wach all thoes show all the time cant get enoulf of them too bad thay took off the new yankee work shop. yeah Tony up north is nice, but Im sick of snow. I have never been to NYC bit was close I visted Orange County Chopers store. Scott
