Arrow Newbie frm central Nebraska

Hey, everyone. I've reached the point where our boys are grown and gone and I'm tired of watching TV. Woodworking sounds appealing, and I've been devouring woodworking websites and magazines. I've started to but some tools and feel I need a "support group" and "sounding board" as I learn along the way. This forum seems like THE place to be for that purpose.

I'm glad to be here!

welcome from clarksville, tn. i'm originally from hay springs, ne - it's about 25 miles from chadron. i retired from the army back in 2007 and started working a regular job. couldn't see myself sitting on the couch every evening from 5 to 10 waiting to go to bed. started woodworking and the more i learn, the more i realize i have much more to learn. this is a good site with a lot of experience to draw from.
