Newbie to this fourm.

This is my first time here. I have been a member of Sawmill Creek for a while. (This site has the best smileys!) It is nice to some times get a second opinion on wood working topics. I am 17 and have been in wood working for 7 years. In the last 4 years I have been doing more fine furniture work. I have made 23 projects and have another 6 or so scheduled. Between my part time job and school, I run an unofficial custom woodworking business. Imaging making money for the time most kid my age play video games! (For the record I don't have any.) I make small band saw boxes to cutting boards to cabinetry. I do some framing and remodeling as well. I will post pictures of my work and shop a little later.

Keep up with that frame of mind, son. I can't recall any young person that has benefitted greatly from playing video games. But I do have several nieces and nephews that are young lard buskets that won't wipe their own "hinnies" because of the inactivity and lack of initiative of being "boob tube warriors."
