Newbie

Hello everyone,
I am a novice woodworker who inherited a bunch of woodworking tools from his father-in-law. I inherited a nice Jet Table saw, Dewalt Mitre saw, Porter Cable router, lots of clamps, bits, files, etc. Anyways, my goal is to learn this trade for him and show the wife that I have skills ; ) Anywho, thanks for any advice!

johnep just gave you probably the most important advice a novice could get, shop safety. I personally think that thread is gross and I do not read it. Maybe one visit will be enough for you too. This is a great hobby...it's alot easier with all your fingers .
