newb from South Dakota

Hey fella's. I'm Josh Stange. Remember that name, I'll be the most famous woodworker in mid america in 30 years. I'm a 29 year old General Contractor from South Dakota. I have always been and always will be a woodworker at heart. I built a set Alder for a kitchen, 2 baths, and laundry remodel. Have been building vanities and entertainment centers since I was 15, and creating custom woodwork on jobsites for the past 6 years when needed. I built a 32 inch interior door with a 16 inch radius for my bathroom 8 years ago (I am finally going to get the top jamb and top trim done this winter when it slows down).
I have a jet 10 inch cabinet saw with the 52" beisemeyer fence and am going to buy some iron to shorten it due to workshop restraints
2 1/4 HP porter-cable router with lots of bits
grizzly 1 1/2 HP shaper with enough bits for now
the newer dewalt planer, smaller benchtop drillpress
kreg stuff
clamps-clamps-clamps
23 gauge to 15 gauge nailers
1016L makita mitersaw with the rolling makita stand
Bosch contractor tablesaw
Makita 18 volt LXT tools
and a buch of other crap stuffed between my 20'X7' enclosed trailer I use for carpentry and my 12'X24'X9' ceiling garden shed. I just purchased some bubblewrap/foilonbothsides insulation to insulate the 6X7 rollup door on the shed and to insulate the roof (don't need much, its just a garden shed) walls will be next for fiberglass and either plywood or OSB. Hoping my electrician buddy who owes me gets me some 220v in there next week.

Well hopefully that wasn't too unintelligible. Anything I'm missing?

Welcome Josh. You have a lot more tools than I had when I was your age. You have the right attitude for success, too!

Harrison, at your service!

"Well hopefully that wasn't too unintelligible. Anything I'm missing?"

Uh, yeah ... you didn't point out that you don't have enough clamps.

"Clamps, clamps, clamps" is not enough clamps. There are NEVER enough clamps.

Welcome aboard.

Paul

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Nice door Josh

Maybe when you get the arch moldings down pat, you can take over where Hurley left off. Jeff left a big void in this market.
