New to woodworking and forums

Hello from western Kentucky. I am a newbie to woodworking and forums. I am 43 and just getting started. Watched Norm Abram for years and was amazed at the things he built. Thought I would try some myself. I don't have many tools yet, but I am slowly working on that. I checked out this site to get some ideas for using my new table saw (Ridgid R4512). Loved all the advice I have seen so far. When even I complete my first project, I will post pics. Any suggestions for a project for a complete newbie?

I printed off a plan for a cross cut sled. That will be first. Then I will look for good plans for an outfeed table. Thanks for the suggestion.
