New Texan

Hello all my name is chris I live in a small Texas town of about 400 people. Pretty new to woodworking. Only done a few small projects but I really enjoy it. This seems like a great community of folks and I'm excited about learning from you guys.

Welcome to the forum! We all like pictures. Plenty of other Texans on here.
What, do you moderators get a signing bonus for every Texan you bring on board? ;-)

I was a new Texan 51.5 years ago. I'm not so new anymore but still hanging in there. Anyhow, good to finally see some Texans. We just don't see many of them come through these parts.

Yeah, and wood doesn't come from trees.... bill

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)

Welcome Heavy, new here as well. I am down in Leander, TX, a few minutes north of Austin.

I am kind of in the same boat as you, just been doing small projects and really love building just about anything, started an attached lean-to shed yesterday to clean out my 3rd car garage for my workshop. Hopefully will be ready to brick it in by Tuesday!
