New and Shopping

Im new to the forum. This seems like a great place and i hope you all don't mind me putting up some questions.

Question: Is this forum on TAPATALK?

I did cabinetry years ago and now want (and need) to pick it up again. I'm doing my own kitchen cabinets pretty soon and am going shopping for a table saw this week. I was hoping maybe you all could throw out some recommendations. I'd like to spend between $200 and $400. I know its not a lot, but I want to start off slow. After I do my own kitchen I'de like to keep doing cabinets and selling them to see if I can sustain the hobby. Not in an effort to make extra income. I'm a Concrete Contractor and focus on Concrete and Asphalt work. I just suddenly felt the urge to pick this up again. :-) Plus I bet my wife a new PS3 that I could do our kitchen.

So before I run out and search the forum for TS's, any pointers?

Thanks in Advance!

Not familiar with brands over there, if you search the forum there is a lot of talk about table saws. Some will prob give you advice to save the search

Welcome to the forum btw

My advice is go second hand, you'll get better value for limited dollars if you shop right

Tell us where you are and if someone local to you sees a good deal they might post it here for you to check out.

Welcome and +1 to what Dave says. You can get more saw for your money by going used.

Here are some options Im looking at. I would like to find something i can add accessories to in the near future in order to make 30" plus cuts. But in my price range I realize that might not be possible.

I hope its ok that i post these links. Any ideas and pointers for a work bench that accessorizes a table saw? I am in Mission, TX.
[south texas, 15min from Mexico :-/]

I really wouldn't know where to start down here in looking for a used. I look into home depot, because in the past any purchases i've made have been flawless in returning them if needed.

Thanks.

Lol!! I know, I haven't been able to play in a while, but I still like it the same. I should be specific and say Black Ops is the ONLY game I play. I miss playing, so far Friday nights for an hour is as lucky as I have been. :-)

Thanks for the link!
