I've never had any interest in walking sticks but here are some heads that I did up for a guy one time who make them (actually he made "canes" and I don't know if you consider that there's any difference)

wood geezer, have you tried any twisted sticks yet? That is what I look for when stick hunting. I have found a new supply of them for now but think I will wait until spring when the sap is rising to get a few more, the bark will just peel off then. Oh welcome to the forum.

I forgot, Woodcrafters has some Diamond Willow sticks for sale now and really cheap.

WOW walking stick-cane tops are AMAZING with lots of CREATIVITY !!!
Just my opinion walking sticks are at least an inch longer than cane Ha Ha
