New Old Guy

Hi from the Friendly Province of Manitoba, Canada. The land of 5' ice and 37' snow banks.

I've done quite a bit of framing/construction and interior finishing throughout my life, and dabbled in fine workworking when my kids where young. Now 20 years later I'm getting back into the fine art of cussing and swearing....opps did I say that ?!#^&*$? I mean the fine art of woodworking.

I've replaced my 25 year old tablesaw and router and having fun spending money on tools and ready to go.

Cheers everyone.

Welcome to the forum. So, do you have a heated shop or do you brave the cold like some of the rest of us?

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

I actually had someone come in and insulate the ceiling. I bought a 5 kilowatt shop heater from Rona, and I just wired it up this past weekend. The 1500 watt space heaters just didnt cut it. The heater seems to do pretty good. I have the thermo set so I have it about 66-68 degrees.
