New member from the Twin Cities

Hi, my name is Steve. We just moved in to a larger house with an unfinished basement, which leaves a variety of opportunities and tasks. I've never been much of a woodworker, more of a handyman, but there are some things I want to work on and eventually work into more complicated things.

In the next month or so I need to build some storage shelves, and some kind of workbench to replace my sawhorses. Then I'd like to incorporate a router table of some sort. Haven't yet decided what I think I need there.

Then this summer I want to build a picnic table for the patio.

And then we'll just have to see...
