Thumbs up new member

Hi everybody
I am a complete beginner in fact I have not begun. I have bought the lathe and a set of three tools, a meter for the moisture and a large amount of intrepidation. I am about to "build" my work area. I have only known one other person personally to exchange thoughts with and have just found this site. I am looking forward to having an interesting time an am able to "steal some ideas from the experts as it were.

Welcome Allejo. Go over to the Woodturning section and also introduce yourself there and ask a few questions about how to set up for your woodturning endeavors.

There is no shortage of experienced turners here who will be happy to save you some time and trouble.

Good morning and welcome! Do you have any background in woodworking, or just a strong interest? I am trying to restart, and kick it up a few notches. The guys here seem to be good folks. I am hoping to learn a lot from them as well. As you learn, share, so that we can all learn!
