Good Morning (or evening) Everyone,
Just joined the forum, from which I've received much needed info regarding woodworking tips, and some good info about my recently acquired right-tilt 1966 Unisaw 34-450. Woodworking has always been a hobby, one that I wasn't very good at due to my lack of patience at a younger age;0). I've been tuning up the Unisaw; it came with the older (USA Made) 52" Biesemeyer Fence system. She's up and running quite smoothly, and is probably the quietest and most stable saw I've had the pleasure of operating. The only thing she was missing was the rectangular motor cover. For an interim solution, and a cheap one I might add, I went to Lowe's, and picked up a storage container, which is now being used as a temporary motor cover (see pics below). Next, I will be working on making a riving knife with manual height adjustment. Glad to be here and looking forward to being a member of this great community.
