New here from San Antonio

Hello everyone, my name is Eric. I'm an aspiring furniture designer/maker but have not pursued it due to the lack of a proper workshop and tools. My experience has come mostly from working with my dad on projects since I was a little kid and ongoing off and on to today. Also I took a furniture design class in college.

I'm finally in the process of setting up a workshop in my garage. A Jet Proshop tablesaw is on it's way for Christmas thanks to my wife's encouragement that I go for it so I can get serious about my interest. I'm excited about getting to work and I look forward to learning from you good people and sharing my experiences along the way.

Welcome

My boss a Texan, and the only wood working he knows how to do is mesquite on the grill. But he is good at it.

I've been a member for several months now, mostly just lurking around, so not too many posts, but these guys are great!

Will do...I am already working on a simple clock design so I will have something to work on to get familiar with the saw when it arrives.
