New guy here...hello from California

Hi all;
I'm new to the forum and although I did enjoy making projects in wood shop in Jr High and HS - eons ago, I'm now just getting back to wood working. Looking forward to reading and learning from your experiences.

and the best experiences to read about on here is when the threads contain the words "I'll never do that again".
On a more serious note, dont be afraid to ask questions. Just remember that there is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people asking them. JUST KIDDING !!!

Tell us a little about your self. As much or as little as you want. I lived in the north end of Ca for a year. Redding was a beautiful place. which end of Ca are you in?

Thanks for the welcome...
I'm from San Jose, CA [@1hr south of San Francisco].
I enjoy working on my own cars and house. It's fun, I save a lot on labor, and somehow it's therapeutic . Since mine is an older house, I never seem to run out of "projects."
I am also looking for a dependable, portable, affordable table saw for my flooring projects. Any suggestions?
