New to forum not to woodworking
Hi all, I am 56, located in Northern Utah and have been working with wood since junior high school and am in the process of setting up my shop for about the third time. Over the years had many tools but have had to sell them for a variety of reasons. Now that I am retired I am going to make all the stuff I have dreamed of over the years. Jordan

Welcome aboard Jordan. Always glad to have another youngster join us. I am sure that this time you will be able to set up shop and keep it.

So far I have a tablesaw, bandsaw, drillpress, edge planer, power mortiser, chopsaw, multitudes of accessories measuring stuff etc. I am waiting for a couple of chip carving knives as I want to explore my nordic roots and am hoping to soon get a lathe. So many ideas, so little time LOL. thanks for the welcome btw.

God made us from dust, but all we can do is make dust.
Just got the 2 Barton chip carving knives I ordered last week, they are very nice tools but more attention could have been paid to the bevel grind and preliminary sharpening. Now to re-read the book and start popin chips in the basswood I picked up at a craft store going out of business for next to nothing. Such a deal LOL.
Welcome Jordan! 1955 was a good year to be born in!
54 was better LOL... Thanks for all the velkommens (sp). Jordan
Easy wind blowin cross the bayou today, I'm a stone jack baller and my heart is true.
