New to the forum and new to woodworking

Hello all,
I have just recently taken up the hobby of woodworking and did a search for sites that discuss the different aspects of the skill. I live in Hebron, CT in an old house that will need plenty of work and I am also interested in cabinetry and furniture. I look forward to gleeming information from this forum.

Welcome

Hope you can get teh information you are looking for. Keep in mind, that it will be your responsibility to wade through all the information that will be thrown at you and use what is most applicable to your project, skill level and on hand tools. You will have access to all skill levels here from the High Marshalls of conservatory work to folks who think that family heirlooms can be constructed from 2x4 lumber, common nails and cdx plywood. Enjoy and don't forget to contribute.
