New to this forum but not to wood

Began making cabinets and furniture for about 15 years. I started out with a jig saw, circular saw and a hammer and made a 5 foot swing out of pressure treated lumber on a 4x4 "A" frame; which is still standing. I live in south central Louisiana, married 26 years (my wife is an avid quilter), have 3 children (1 left at home; he just turned 15).

My dad's hobbies are woodworking, electronics (Heath Kit.....remember those days ) clock repair and guess what I do? I work as a Avionics electronic tech., I have a wood working shop and I love clocks.

Me, well I work out of a 30' x 40' shop, the front 10' is for storage and there is a 10' x 10' exercise room in the corner. The wife has my old shop which was a open walled 16' x 20' building, garage door, with a 10' x 12' addition on the back. Well, I finished the inside with lots on insulation, A/C, bead board paneling, vinyl tile, ceiling fan, a real entry door and she uses it to teach beginning quilters.

Enough for now I have to finish a pedestal table that I am working on right now and will post pics when I finish. So enjoy one of my projects below. I have many more that I will post at a later date.

Cool, I have done several restaurant remodels in Lafayette. We really enjoyed working there. Nice folks.
