new to forum

Hi everyone, the name of the forum intrigued me, as we're a
DIY couple. We do all kinds of home improvement, woodworking, stained glass, clock making,
decorating, upholstery, antique restoration, landscaping, everything... really. I just keep getting so many ideas, can't help it.

We're not professionals just love doing stuff and living in a house
with so much of us in it.
Looking forward to having some fun around here.

welcome to the forum. Take pics. Rule here is, no pics, you didn't really do it, so up to now you haven't really made any clocks at all.

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Thanks for the welcome guys...but be careful what you ask for!
I forgot to list photography as one of my hobbies

We've made about 8 or 9 clocks...two shaker clocks for our kitchen, and I designed one with a mouse hole
in hopes that our son would whittle me a mouse, and he did.

Thanks Dominick, I have so many pic's on photobucket that it takes
me forever to locate my pics...
here is one I found with the cage we made for our love bird.
the cage is black walnut...we also made another bigger cage for
our canary with a matching table all with QS white oak.
I'll go get another cage pic ...

here is the cage open, we made a little bumpout 'porch' in the back with a slide out piece
of glass for the food and water ...it keeps the food and water clean.

I really like walnut, the other cage for our canary, we made a matching table as well.
I know this was suppose to be clock photos...somehow I veered off to cages...

I'll get a clock one next....

Here is two recent clocks, the one on the left is a chiming bulova
with an hour bong that I picked up at a yard sale for 2.00...
it was in a brass case and all tarnished...I pick up a lot of old
yard sale clocks just for the faces. The lyre clock I designed cause I love lyres. The face swivels.
Both clocks are white QS oak, the bulova one has black walnut
on top and bottom.

everything we make, I make for a specific area or place in our house. This
one we made for my desk. The lyre one we made for the piano.
I will be back with my favorite shaker clock.

found a pic of the original 2.00 yard sale clock...it was in pitiful shape.
it has a beautiful westminister chime.

this is my favorite shaker clock, I couldn't find a close-up of it, so I cropped it from another
photo.

Thanks very much Dominick, you're very kind.
I should have started a photo
thread on the photo section, I think I got carried away adding photos.

We have to go out, but when I get back, I'll post my perfume cabinet that I love...
The perfume cabinet is how I got the idea to make bird cages for our two birds....

hint..valentine's day will be here before you know it guys.
a nice perfume cab for the LOYL is an idea for ya.

oh, we don't sell, it's a hobby only.
