a new fellow woordworker

I would like to introduce myself.

I am a dutchman. Live in The Netherlands, Europe. I'm a woodworker in my spare time.
A reason to join an American forum is that I like to learn from the ways you do things in your part of the world. Besides that I think it is always a good thing to get to know good people wherever they are from.
So for me it is for the greater part a learning experience (and to have some fun if possible).

See you,
Peter Kruse.

Welcome! Its always good to get an international perspective on things. I worked with several countries in the Netherlands during my career, primarily in Amsterdam and Eindhoven at the Phillips Tech Park. Always enjoyed the people, food and beer. I became a fan of the Dutch National football team and was disappointed they did not make the tournament along with the US and Italy. Only four more years to wait!

Peter, Welcome, Lots of advise and opinions here. Just jump right in! I also have an interest in how woodworkers in other parts of the world do their woodworking. I have tried to do country specific searches but google seems to return mostly local results. there are quite a few members from other parts of the world that regularly contribute to woodworkingtalk. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum, Peter! When you get a minute add your location to your profile so it will show in the left panel. We'll forget where you are after this intro.

Post some photos of your projects when you're ready.
