New To Everything
Hello, just joined today and am ready to get learned.
I have no experience with woodworking. A couple months ago I picked up a wood magazine and decided I wanted to try and build a magazine rack. I picked up a jig saw and have gone from there.
I dont have a huge budget. Have got a mechanics tool set. Added some hand saws, mitre box, clamps, squares, etc.
Picked up Craftsman scroll saw (used), a Craftsman jig saw and mitre saw, and recently a Master Craft table saw. Couple hand held sanders. Shop vac as a "dust collector."
I guesss I have the basic tools, probably unpreferred manufacturer, but very little experience with them.
My goals....to be able to make easier things- jewelry boxes, end tables, toy chests, clocks, etc....
I have no experience and have no ideas how to make/use jigs, joiners, etc. Everything I have learned up till now is from forums, youtube, or internet searches.
Well thats where Im at and where I hope to get to. Any recommendations on what tools/equipment I should get and learn to use?
Couple saws, some screwdrivers, and a box of screws.......gotta start somewhere.
