New entry

Hello everyone I am the Canadian wood tick and I look forward to hob- knobbing with the pros. I hope to learn much and hopefully pass on some of my humble thoughts. Thanks "A"! The Tick.

Welcome Woodtick. I'm sure you will find plenty of people to talk to here. One question, though. Are the woodticks up in Canada as thick as they are in Northern Wisconsin? I lived in a little town called Pound, WI for several years and when my sons and I went trout fishing we would have to actually scrape the woodticks off each other they would be so thick. They were as thick as the mosquitos were in Northern Minnesota.

Holy mackerel! Not quite that thick. Must be a little too cold and a little too dry up here for them. Actually I where I live, on the prairies, we don't get many. I was working state side for a couple of months years ago and this job supe kept on calling me the Canadian Woodtick and it stuck. I have this handle now with my buddies and they call me The Tick or Tick instead of my real name. I guess it could be worse and be called Butch. Have a great day sir. The Tick.
