New around here

Hello. I'm new around here, though not entirely new to woodworking. I've not done enough in recent years, but plan on doing a lot more in the future. I've got visions of grandeur and hope I can live up to some of them :)

I live here in NW Arkansas and wondering, if anybody on here is also from this area, where a local hardwood retailer might be. I'd also like to know a local place to acquire either some good baltic birch or that ApplePly stuff. I've spent some time on google looking and am tired of finding flooring stores.

I don't know how close you are to Poplar Bluff but here is a link to a place there.
