New from Alaska

Hello from the fozen north. I am new to the forum and relatively new to wood working. I have a small shop (used to be a storage shed), but the more sawdust I make the more I enjoy it.

Hi GCI. I went to Alaska a few months ago. What an awesome place it is. I posted a few pics in my album to share. Welcome to the forum. I'm new here myself. Lots of good info here.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. We can use all the warm we can find up here. 4 degrees this am.

I have already benefitted for some good advice from the forum. Glad I found it.

Yep Itchy....that's a glacier. I visited 5 of them while I was there and got to climb on two. I think I took about 1000 photos while I was there. Very beautiful place.

Texas - my second favorite state! Spent a lot of time there - San Antonio and Austin area. I could live there.

Welcome to the forum! My wife and I also visited your beautiful state of Alaska in August, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We even got to see Mt. McKinley, or as those who "know" call it, Denali. I snapped this pic from Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge which they say is 40 miles from the majestic mountain.
