My name is Chris,
I'm 25 years old and I live in Lumpkin, Georgia.
I've been interested in woodworking my whole life. I grew up religiously watching Norm Abram and recording the episodes to watch over and over again. I've been slowly collecting the tools and machinery I need for my shop (which is currently half of a two car garage). I still need a good table saw, planer, and a mortising machine would be nice. I already have a jointer, drill press, two bandsaws, routers, sanders, biscuit joiner, etc.
I've worked at all kinds of jobs, screen printing, all kinds of construction, gun retail/gunsmithing, but have finally decided I want to do woodworking for a living.
I'm currently working part-time for a friend doing residential construction/remodeling while saving up for the rest of the tools I need.
I've been lurking on a few different woodworking forums and I have finally decided I like this one the best. I hope to make friends here, and maybe learn a thing or two
