Lot of Wood

hey guys, I'm pretty new at woodworking - can anyone tell me off hand what kind of wood is this? is it just dirty or rotted?

"bundle of used wood studs" from the ad...mostly pine (and it kinda looks like crap at that)

"There might be studs or nails in some of these pieces."...Yea I could see a nail in the picture even.

You would be better off dumpster diving a construction site IMO.

"These could be great for fire wood" from the ad...well maybe it would.

I'd say Pine, Fir, probably a mixture.

Tough to tell from that pic.

Is this where you are going to pick up?? If shipping is involved it is going to cost. Not worth it $10.00 bid so far. If it is preasure treated Not good for fire wood. Look's like a pass on that if it were me.

Welcome to the forum.

I would say that this is junk. Species is probably pine. More work involved in salvaging this than any value gained. Probably also had bugs.

Tools are like guns, You can never have enough.
Where did I put that tape measure???
