Lightbulb looking to start looking.

hello I'm shawn and I recently bought a house with a barn with a workshop in it. I am a form carpenter with general woodworking skills. I have made a few simple peices of furniture and I recently became interested in fine woodworking.I'm looking for any help with tips to get started esp. good beginners books.

thanks for the help

shawn

Welcome to the site Shawn.
You might check out Wood magazine.

I'm not a fan of Black n Decker, but when I first started woodworking, I liked using the project books that they put out. You can find them pretty cheap at amazon.com and even look through some of it before you buy it.

You might check them out but, if you've already built some furniture, they might not be as "fine" as you want.

Welcome Shawn. There is a thread on here somewhere on the various magazines and what they offer.
