Long time Lurker

Since I recently broke my leg and It is a real pain just trying to get out to the shop....lil' lone do anything on one leg...I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself.
So hear goes.
Hello, I am a custom woodworker from LaSalle Co. IL.
I have been watching theese forums for a while now.
It really amazes me the great informative posts that can be found on this site and the time and effort some users are willing to put into their replys.
I have been a union carpenter for 20+ yrs.
All the while maintaining a wood shop.
When the housing market went to sh*t I began concentrating solely on my woodwoorking bussiness as my only income.

I will post some shop pics later this week.

Welcome Scott glad you're here! Sorry to hear about your leg. It's too bad about the construction slowdown but you've got to admit the boom along the I-80 corridor from Joilet to Princeton has been just amazing! I'm hopeful things will turn around. There's a lot of industry moving your way. Anyhow, welcome to the forum and looking forward to seeing your work.
