Red face Just joined, looking for some tips

Hello all,

I'm not a regular wood worker/handyman, so I'm probably not going to be here for long. I just joined to get some tips for restoring an old desk, that has a bunch of kicks and scratches from years of hard abuse from tweens/teens.

See you all around.

Will it be painted later?

Stain will be the most difficult to "repair" as all the fill will show up a different color when it's restained. Will you strip off all the old finish?
What's the plan for this desk, kid's room, living room..... show piece?

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)
