Introduction

Hello everyone. I don't know if I'm doing this right or if this is where I'm supposed to introduce myself but I can't find any other way.

I live in Oklahoma and was born in the early '50's. I completed 3 years of wood shop and probably like a lot of you out there I built many pieces of furniture, bookcases, candle holders, a spice rack, gun case, etc.

I have not built anything on a large scale since school, mainly due to not having the right tools.

I joined this site because I would like to rekindle my passion and get knowledge from serious woodworkers.

Welcome aboard, glad to have you.

While we're glad to help out here, I would say we are experienced. Serious is not a word I would use to describe most of us on here. Jokesters might fit allot of us. Anyway good luck with getting back into woodworking.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I would have introduced myself the day I joined but I could not navigate my way on this site for some reason. I still can't find a new post button or whatever it is called here.

I will speak for myself rrbrown. Anytime I am involved in working on a project, I get very serious. I think it is because the more experience you have, the more you can relax a bit and still have time to care of other business.

I look forward to sharing personal experiences and offering suggestions that I have either been taught or have dealt with myself with all of the Woodworking Talk community! Merry Christmas everyone!
