Talking Introduction

Hi to all. I'm semiRetired 55. And as my handle suggests I'm newly semi-retired, and now actually have the free time to develop my skills, and devote time to becoming a better than novice woodworker. Right now I'm focusing on gaining new knowledge, and most of all benefiting from the worlds of experience of other members. I've always enjoyed myself in my small home shop and find my time there relaxing and mostly productive. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.

"Welcome to the forum! When you get a minute go ahead and complete your profile with first name and location. This helps us to help you and we like first names. You can add it to your signature line, as well, and that way it shows on every post. We like first names." I beat ya to it David!

Welcome aboard mate! It's a pretty nice place around here, most everybody is willing help you out on any questions you might have. So stick around! If you're looking to learn, you can pick up quite a few things here.

I hear that once you retire you end up with more stuff to do then when you were working.

Catpower is almost correct - when retired, everyday is Saturday except for Sunday.

Welcome to the forum. I'm sort of a neighbor from NH about 15 miles north of Fitchburg.

Its' never hot or cold in New Hampshire... its' always seasonal.

Welcome to the forum! Yep, like Weeby said - please add your name to your signature line. Which, btw, Weeby has not done!!

What sort of woodworking are you going to be doing? You can post photos of your shop and tools if you want. The photos have to be on your computer, no 3rd party hosting until you have more than 10 posts.

I was really hoping you'd get a kick out of that, as I haven't put my name on here yet.
