Howdy, from scribbles.

First of all the name has been around forever and it refers to brain function. Or lack there of. haha... anyway I have been doing this work all of my life, learned form my grandfather, he owned a small cabinet shop, started working as a carpenter at 18, built custom handrail for the last 12 years, was a general foreman for a local handrail company. Well the stair biz went kaput with the housing collapse, so I started a small millwork company about 2 years ago and we are doing ok. I love to work with wood, I have always loved it, and with good lords blessing I will do it for many more years to come. This seems like a good site, with a lot of good ppl I can learn from, and I hope I can help a few of yall out with your projects two.

intro

Welcome from another newcomer. I might hit you up sometime for handrail advise, as that's one thing I've never done (custom curves etc..). Done plenty of handrail but not curved. Too bad I don't know about building windows though huh? Russ

Yea me neither. Haha... There is a great market for custom wood windows in my area, due to the large historic districts in my area, and that is about the only thing I have not built. I would love to add that to the services I can offer. I may just get the restoration books I have been looking at and start making windows for my house. Learn by doing.

And hive me a holler if you have any questions I would love to help.
